A direct word from the founder

I founded BolarForge to help international buyers source from India with greater confidence and transparency. I believe many buyers are interested in India's manufacturing and supply capabilities but face challenges in identifying reliable suppliers, verifying information, and managing communication from overseas.

My commitment is simple: provide responsive communication, transparent processes, honest reporting, and dedicated on-the-ground support wherever possible. Rather than acting as a traditional intermediary, I aim to serve as a trusted local representative for buyers who need eyes, ears, and coordination support within India.

Every engagement begins with understanding the buyer's requirements and working to reduce sourcing risk through documentation review, supplier coordination, verification activities where applicable, and clear communication throughout the process.

India presence

BolarForge is based in Mangalore, Karnataka, with the ability to coordinate sourcing activities across India depending on buyer requirements. Being based in India allows me to communicate directly with suppliers, conduct local coordination, and support verification activities where applicable.

On-the-ground support may include supplier communication, documentation collection, site visit coordination, sample collection, photo and video reporting, shipment follow-up, and other sourcing-related activities requested by the buyer. For projects outside my immediate region, I am prepared to travel when required or coordinate with trusted local resources to support buyer needs.

Why we exist

BolarForge was created after observing a common challenge faced by international buyers sourcing from India: finding suppliers is often easy, but confidently evaluating them from another country is much harder.

Buyers frequently face questions such as: Is the supplier genuine? Are the capabilities being represented accurately? Who can verify information locally? Who can coordinate when issues arise? For many small and mid-sized buyers, establishing a local presence in India is not practical.

BolarForge was established to fill that gap. The goal is not simply to introduce suppliers, but to provide buyers with local support, transparent communication, and sourcing coordination that helps reduce uncertainty when working with suppliers in India. By acting as a local point of contact, BolarForge helps buyers move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

Our model

How BolarForge is compensated

BolarForge is compensated by the buyer — not the supplier. We do not receive commissions or payments from suppliers. Our only financial interest is delivering value to you.

Depending on the engagement, the fee is structured as one of the following — agreed in writing before any work begins:

Fixed Service Fee

A flat fee for a defined scope of work — supplier shortlisting, sample coordination, or a pre-shipment check.

Best for defined, project-scope engagements.

Project Fee

A fee tied to the completion of a specific milestone — such as a first commercial order placed with a verified supplier.

Best for first-time buyers running a trial engagement.

Value-Based Fee

A buyer-paid fee calculated as a percentage of the sourcing value, agreed in advance and disclosed in writing.

Best for ongoing relationships and repeat sourcing.

This is not a supplier commission. BolarForge does not receive commissions or payments from suppliers. All fees are paid by the buyer and agreed in advance. The commercial structure is disclosed transparently at the start of every engagement.

Transparency

Fee structures are disclosed and agreed in writing before any work begins. You know exactly what you are paying and why before we start.

Honesty about limits

If your requirement is outside our current capability, we tell you at the outset — before either party commits time or money. We would rather lose an inquiry than take on work we cannot deliver.

Long-term over transactional

We are not interested in closing one shipment and moving on. We want to be the sourcing partner you come back to — which means every engagement is treated as the start of a relationship, not the end of a sale.
